Dr Norbert Lobo, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics, St Aloysius College, Mangalore has been unanimously reelected as the President of Association of Mangalore University College Teachers', (AMUCT) for 204-2016. Dr Lobo was the President of ‘AMUCT’ for the last 2 years and is also serving as the Vice-President of All India Federation of University and College Teachers Organisation-(AIFUCTO). Election to the posts of New Office Bearers was held at the Annual General Meeting held at St Aloysius College , Mangalore on Sunday, July 6, 2014.
Sri Lakshminaryana Bhat, Department of Economics. Besant Evening College, Mangalore was elected as the General Secretary. Sri Charles Pais, Associate Professor, St Agnes College, Mangalore as the treasurer, Sri Rangaiah Shettigar, Associate Professor of Commerce, K.S.S College, Subramanya College and Dr Vishwanath P, Associate Professor of Chemistry, S D M College Ujire, as the Vice Presidents, Mrs Dejamma, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Canara College, Udupi and Mrs Nayana Assistant Professor of Political Science, M.S.R.S College,Shirva were elected as the Joint Secretaries.
