The AGM of AMUCT began on July 27 at 10 am at St Agnes College Hall. Dr Norbert Lobo, the President, amuct welcomed the members and proceeded to business session. Dr Laxminarayana Bhat, General Secretary read the report of the 29th AGM which was approved by the house. he also presented the activities of AMUCT in the academic year 2015-16. Mr Charles Pais presented the auditors statement, income and expenditure and budget for the next year. Dr Mohith Suvarna gave the audited income expenditure to the body.
Elections were held for the new office bearers of of AMUCT for the year 2016-18. Dr Ummappa Poojary and Dr Kumar Hegde were elected unanimously as President and Secretary along with other office bearers.
At 11.30 formal programme began. Prof. Sabiha was the chief guest and Sr Supriya A.C wass the Guest of Honour. they honoured te retired members as well as the new Doctorate members of AMUCT.
