The Finance Department of Central Government ordered to release eight percent Dearness Allowance for Central Government Employees and Pensioners. Thus the Dearness Allowance for Central Government Employees and Pensioners will increase from 72% to 80% with effect from 1.1.2013 to compensate for price rise. Arrears will be paid in cash.
