Mangalore, June 29
The fifth Managing Council Meeting of AMUCT which was held on the previous day (June 29, 2013) of the Annual General Body Meeting of the AMUCT approved the AGM Agenda.
This meeting also highlighted the recent developments on UGC arrears, creation of Professor's posts in the colleges and the posts of Principals. Dr A.M Narahari former President of FUCTAK and AMUCT briefed the members on these matters.
The General secretary Sri Purushothama K.V presented the proceeding of the Fourth MCM which was approved by the members. The President Dr Norbert Lobo, highlighted the followup action of the association after the fourth Managing Council Meeting including the meeting the Vice Chancellor on remuneration for valuation work.
Dr Norbert Lobo briefed on the preparation done for the AMUCT Convention and requested the Conveners to bring all members of AMUCT to the Convention on June 30, 2013 from their respective units.
